Türkçede “bak-”eyleminin yüklem görevini üstlendiği bazı cümlelerin, ardından gelen ikinci bir cümleyle oluşturduğu “Bakıyorum her geçen gün biraz daha güzelleşiyorsun.”, “Baktım ki bu ödevi yapmayacaksın, başkasına verdim.” vb. yapılarda iki cümle arasındaki biçimsel ilişki doğrudan kurulamaz. Baştaki ve sondaki cümle arasında yüzey yapıya çıkamamış, yüklemi “bak-”, “gör-” eylemleriyle kurulu bir cümle bulunur: “Bakıyorum, görüyorum ki her geçen gün biraz daha güzelleşiyorsun.”, “Baktım, anladım ki bu ödevi yapamayacaksın, başkasına verdim.” vb. Derin yapıda bırakılan aradaki cümle, sondaki cümlenin yüklemi konumundadır. Çünkü yapının ikinci bölümündeki dil birimi (son cümle), tek başına alındığında bitmiş bir cümle görüntüsü vermekle birlikte derin yapıda kalmış başka bir yükleme hizmet eden, nesne görevindeki iç cümledir. Bu nedenle cümle çözümlemelerinde yüzey yapıdaki ilk cümleyle son cümlenin birbirine yalnız anlamsal açıdan bağlı iki basit cümle olarak değerlendirilmesi gerekmektedir.
In Turkish, for the structures including some sentences with the verb “bak-” functioning as the predicate which are combined with another sentence in the latter position, it is not possible to build up a direct structural relation concerning these sentences like “Bakıyorum her geçen gün biraz daha güzelleşiyorsun.”, “Baktım ki bu ödevi yapmayacaksın, başkasına verdim.” etc. Between the former and the latter sentences , it could be found out that there is an existence of another sentence of which predicate is the verb “bak-” or “gör-” and is not able to reach the surface structure: “Bakıyorum, görüyorum ki her geçen gün biraz daha güzelleşiyorsun.”, “Baktım, anladım ki bu ödevi yapamayacaksın, başkasına verdim.” etc. The middle sentence left in the deep structure level, in fact, is the predicate of the latter sentence. Because of this, when the linguistic unit (the last sentence) found in the second part of the structure is dealt alone, it behaves like a complete sentence and what’s more with its inner position also functions as an adjective which serves for another predicate remained in the deep structure. Therefore, in sentence analysis, the former and the latter sentences in the surface structure should be taken into consideration as being two separate and simple sentences connecting with each other through the semantic aspect.
